replace crank and cam sensors together?
So the dealer looked at the solders on the RCM, and they said they were fine but i don't believe that since they were hesitant to even want to do it earlier today. I am going to pull it out and have another look, but what else could cause the mystery engine stall and no restart?
Hey, did you ever get this issue figured out because my srt-6 is doing the exact same thing. I too replaced the cps because the guy at autozone scaned my car and said that's what it was but.I didn't think to get the actual code from him. I have a new battery, new cps, and I'm looking at the relay circuit board and it looks fine. I will post a video of the relay since my phone won't upload a pic.
The video link of my RCM is:

Should I just resolder those joints anyway?

Solder the joints again, do not use acid cored solder or flux, use resin cored solder for electronic use.
Do a good job or you are wasting your time as just remelting the solder might not do the trick.
Ideally the solder should be removed, the pins cleaned and then re soldered.
I went ahead and resoldered the joints anyway. Drove the car to lunch with no problems but that isn't far enough, I will know if that did the trick by the end of the day. I will take it apart and do what you said and remove and clean the pins if it happens again.
I am sure it was his RCM...it heats up loses connection, cools down, re-connects so to speak. You have to use a magnifying glass to see the bad joints... I don't think a service writer at Chrysler owns one, unless they are provided...lol
Well it died in the usual amount of time (about 9 miles down the road). Guess i will be taking out the RCM again and this time doing a through job.
Car info: 2005 crossfire srt-6, 95,151 miles, new battery, new cps.

Buy it from Mercedes not Chrysler or you will have to pay through the nose for the exact same part.
Is the engine light on? If so what codes have been set?
Are there any codes set without the engine light being on?

If it's throwing a code and dying while operating I don't think the RCM is your problem.
Someone once replaced their bad CPS and their problems continued. Turns out the "new" CPS was also bad.
Just sayin.

Any solutions? I have done all of the above (new battery, new cps, stripped cleaned & resoldered said joints). Also when i contacted the auto parts store they said they only list one cps, so is the n/a cps the same as the srt-6 cps?
Just got off the phone with the dealer. The n/a crossfire cps is the same as the srt-6 crossfire cps. Well, I suppose I will have to take it to mom and pops auto repair or the dealership.

Could be a bum CPS because thats the code for it.
There are ways to check voltage etc at the plug, so it is only the dealership that wants to keep throwing parts at these cars without putting a multi-meter on the wires.

Our problem was actually the RCM Relay Control Moduale. It needs to be opened up and cleand and re sautered. Fixed our car, and has been golden for over a year.
Check the actual pins. Someone i know (not ME!
) somehow bent the pins while connecting the connector together. Bent pin = no contact = fault code.

Ok, so dealer gave me a price to fix it today. $100 diagnostic fee, plus they highly reccomend me buy the mopar cps at $166, and magically there is another code now that points to the intake air temp sensor and that one is $53. So the parts plus the diagnostic is around $310 and they want another $320 to install and clear the codes....rape. thoughts?
