Since the temp went almost to 80 today (!!!!!), I had the air conditioning running and I put it on recirculate for my trip back from a customer site. It stayed on for the entire trip, almost 45 minutes.
Hmmm...thanks for the input. Just when I thought that FINALLY my next oil change would ONLY be an oil change! 
Gailwrath, I had the same thought about maybe it not allowing air to get stale or low on O2. I'll have to go test it...maybe there is a difference between when the A/C is on and when it's not. I'm pretty sure I've definately experienced it turning off on its own when the A/C is not on and I just want to avoid the cow "perfume" along a stretch of highway. I'll check to see if it works till I turn it off when the A/C is on.

Okay, I just tested it on the way home tonight; if the AC is on, the recirc stays on. If the AC is off, the recirc turns off automatically every time after 5 minutes.
