Default Hit an armadillo. Tore out part of the fender well.

This is the result of hitting an armadillo the other night. Put a minor crack (3") in the lower front fascia and now I am missing part of the fender well on the passenger side.

If the passenger side is identical to the drivers side then I know I am missisng a good amount of plactic. I thought about just leaving it alone but am curious as to what part # I am missing.

Why are Texans so mean to armadillos?

I see Armadillos all the time where I live (in Texas). Never figured they could do so much damage. Always worried more about the bigger animals like deer and Coyotes.

It appears you only need 2 pieces, the panel and the access door to the fog lights. I would get it replaced myself.

Q: What's the difference between a dead armadillo in the road and a dead lawyer in the road?

A:
The armadillo has skid marks in front of it!

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?

A: To show the armadillo that it could be done.

Q: How do you know if its going to cost twice as much to build something as what you are told?

A: You sign the AIA Model Contract drafted by the architect.

Q: How do you prevent this from happening?

A: Hire a lawyer to protect you from the architect.

Same thing happened to me about a year ago. Middle of the night and hit it dead center in the car. Miraculously, the bumper took it like a champ and there was no damage but i did notice the other day i do have a cracked shield as well. Not sure if it was from this, seeing as how I hit it dead center, or if it was something from the previous owner that I should have noticed. I can definitely say it was the maddest I've ever been in my Crossfire though when that little cannonball smashed into the front ]=(
