Interesting... MY sales rep told me he had been to a special training class just for selling Crossfire. He mentioned the free luggage right up front while I was ogling it on the showroom floor, waiting for a lot dude to clear the snow off one so I could test drive.

I dunno that DCX is downplaying it. The Crossfire website mentions it in two separate places. DCX has printed up entire sets of cards for every set. A lot of effort into this feature. Why would they downplay it -- so you feel pleasantly surprised when you receive it? One dealer I went to made a big deal of it (but was bogus, making out like they had done something special in arranging for luggage). Dealer I bought from looked at website after I pointed it out, and after we had discussed what "Touring Gear" on the sticker meant (I didn't think that meant the 6th gear on the manual trans  ) said, hey, if it's part of the package, it happens automatically. We don't need to even contact Chrysler (and neither they nor I did). And lo and behold, ripstop nylon on my doorstep.

I betcha DCX discontinues it at some point, makes it an option.

Probably won't be included with the 2005 'cheap' version, only with the 'Limited'. ???

I got mine in a week, in fact, since the wife and I go in and out of the house via the garage, we didn't even see the boxes sitting in the corner of the porch... coulda been there a couple days for all I know.

I used the roll-aboard on a 1 week business trip to San Diego a couple weeks ago. The integrated suit/shirt holder in the lid was very nice to my clothes. I'm quite pleased with it. And it was sure easy to pick out MY luggage on the carousel at the airport.
