The luggage is not an option... it is free. It will come to your home address in 2-4 weeks via Fed Ex. Quality is good.

Please turn off your "caps lock" when you post, thanks.

Glad I asked you...

Hi Dan
Living in New York.It always surprises me how little some sales reps know about what they are selling. I think I'll give him a call tomorrow and fill
him in. Jim

My dealer told me the free luggage was a promo and ended in feb. I called chrysler and they told me the luggage was standard equipment. Not a promo. Some people talk when they just don't have a clue. got my luggage this past week. SHARP!

mentioned this in another thread but it's might not hurt to repeat it...i wound-up having to e-mail the customer service folk on the chrysler main web-site and the luggage happened very quickly thereafter. i suspected that it may be complaint-driven. worth a try?

A lot of dealers and salespeople I suspect don't know as much about this car as you'd think. On my car's window sticker it said "Touring Gear" among the features and I asked if that meant the luggage, and NO ONE in the dealership knew what I was talking about. Never HEARD about any luggage. They all have the 'Net in their offices and I walked them through the site and showed the places where it says the luggage is stdd with every purchase. News to them! Dealer #2 (where I didn't buy) made out like luggage is an option and if I bought from them I would be getting something special because they made sure every car they sold had the luggage. Since I prefer innocent ignorance to BS I bought from Dealer #1.....but the point is Chrysler apparently has not done a good job of letting their sales organization know about this feature. And you'd think every salesperson, in downtime, would memorize every line on chrysler.com, but not so.....they are selling a lot more Libertys than Xfires....

this is too much to be coincidence or rampant stupidity. my dealer played dumb on the luggage too as did the dealers for half the people on this board. i really do think chrysler is telling 'em to downplay the luggage and only come thru if pushed.

or, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Wasnt a dealer problem.. My dealer was fully aware of , and informed me of the luggage.....

As a matter of fact, as dealers go, I've truly got the best

For those who want an up-date on luggage issue. I called Chrsyler headquarters and was told luggage should be received within two weeks from delivery of car. they gave me a phone number to call that I will pass on.Luggage inquiries only 1-866-871-1326 if there is a problem re delivery

Got my car in December. Never asked about luggage. Was never told about luggage. It showed up like magic 2-3 weeks later. What a pleasant surprise.

Good stuff. Used it this weekend. The car didn't make the trip but the luggage did anyway.

Default luggage arrive

UPS rang my bell today and delivered my luggage, less than 2 weeks after purchase. Way Cool! 8) I drove over to my dealer to show them as none had ever seen it. We all dug the little Xfire-type wheels on the cart. Didn't realize this was wheeled luggage. Very nice stuff IMHO -- LOVE the winged Chrysler logo -- and the salesfolks were excited, another sales point.

Reason it's not shipped with the car is because it would "disappear." Salesguys concurred.

Told the wife we got the luggage and a little card from Chrysler telling us to enjoy our weekend getaway. She wanted to know what hotel they had enclosed a certificate for. :P

Took 10 days to receive mine, from the day I purchased the car. It came from St. Louis, MO. Pretty nice stuff. I wish they had a laptop bag :?:

Drivin' and Lovin' it.
