I was born in Inglewood too - at Centinella Hospital. Lived in So Calif. until 1984. Still love SO California - even though I live in Las Vegas.

It is a small world.

Too funny. I was born in Inglewood, too! Although I've never been to Scotland, I hear it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. And Vegas, well, no place beats it as an adult Disneyland.

anyone else have some awesome views and nice driving areas near Michigan
During the summer, at Mich Intl Speedway, if there is not a nascar event, the track features schools that teaches you to drive open car, nascar etc. One of the program allows you to use your own car instead of their BMW 3s. Cost is $350 and you'll spend 1/2 day learning and 3x30min on-track driving. I think I might do that this summer. Other than that, how about a short cruise to Hell, MI ?

check out www.tracktime.com for the driving class

Why is this thread so W-I-D-E ? It won't fit on my laptop screen. I keep having to scroll to the right. The other threads don't behave this way... :?:

Landho that is my fault! I put the picture of the map up and it extended it! sorry bro!

and I'll look into those driving lessons! Very sweet idea!

but I'm not to keen on the Hell, Michigan drive... been there before ... I'm debating on just going for a cruise one weekend up near Tawas once it warms up! I love downtown there and I cant wait for the festival of lights! .... Always a good time!

VegasCrossfire - ever taken a drive through the Valley of Fire? That's near Vegas right? I imagine taking these babies out on the winding roads there amongst red rock canyons would be ideal. It's on my list next time I drive out from LA to Vegas.

r.robertson: If you ever get too homesick, we can swap houses for a couple of weeks' vacation...I'd love to get to Scotland...but we gotta swap cars, too (so I can take the Chunnel to the Autobahn)!

By the way, that offer to swap goes out to BobaFettm, too...would love to borrow your car to do the Dragon!

I wish I had the time to drive cross country and back...would do it just for that Dragon drive...looks like a blast. We have a road out here, the Ortega Highway, that winds through foothills, but the roads aren't banked as well as it looks like some of the Dragon's Tail is. Have fun!

Spent the weekend doing "Honey-do's", but thats the price I pay for owning the best time of my life that fits into a small space in an overcrowded garage. Still I get to drive the Crossfire everyday because it is my daily driver. Gotta love it!
