I've had it with DC here in Portugal (apart from having bought a Jeep Wrangler Sport from them 2 years ago).
Waiting since beginning of January 04 for a test drive in the Crossfire and they still can't tell me when I can :? :twisted:
The one test car in this country is doing the rounds of the motorpress, being roundly thrahed into last place by the likes of the 350Z, the RX8, and the Z4 while I'm sitting on my hands waiting to write out a cheque once I test drive it.
Incredible :shock: - they'd rather get their face rubbed in the dirt by the press here (who being auto snobs snigger at the Crossfire being the poor cousin of the outgoing SLK but in funky clothes) while a salivating customer like myself is left waiting on the side lines and will now probably opt for the Z4. I'm really pi..ed at this situation but I'm not going to buy a car I've never tested.
Sorry to gripe folks but I just had to vent my anger with people who really know what a great car this is and in also recognise that it just doesn't get the PR it needs due to the unbelievably incompetent maaner the marketing and sales of this vehicle is caried out by DC - not just here in Portugal but probably in other parts of the world.

I have the opposite here.
I was asked by my local dealer if I wanted a test drive without me asking and
can't take them up on the offer at the moment having lost the sight in one eye.

Do wait to give it a trial before you write the Z4 cheque.
