Crossfire on the Swisstrax website
That stuff is basically the same as race deck.
we've had problems with ours, it stains, you cant jack anything up on it (breaks the tiles) and idling a lowered car with catalytic converters causes the plastic tiles to get so hot they expand and buckle, then melt.

How long have you had your Race Deck? Swisstrax advertises temperature tolerances of -22F + 248F and a compressive strength is 5120 psi to support jacks and jack stands. I've jacked my car several times with no problems.
The tiles are suppose to resist most chemicals, including hydraulic fluids, brake fluids and battery acid, and hot tires won’t mark 'em. Mine are made from polypropylene, same stuff as your gas tank and car bumper.
Swisstrax has a 12 year warranty, so far no problems, time will tell.

That's BS. If you're really having that kind of problems, you either don't have real Race Deck (maybe Costco brand?) or someone needs to contact Race Deck for a free replacement. Here's a photo from Race Deck's website that illustrates it withstanding point loads from a car lift:

248*F is nothing, a catalytic converter runs upwards of 1100*F which turns the stuff to silly putty
I honestly prefer an epoxied garage, either that or lay down linoleum, it might show tire marks but it feels better to work on than race deck
I like carpet. - it's great for a little siesta under the XF...absorbs spills and is cheap and easy to replace...
BTW - my car is way lowered and the CAT's have never burned the carpet...

and the weight distribution from a 4 post lift is much different than jacking up the front end of a corvette with a jack, and its real race deck. No point in calling for a free replacement, we dont want to put it down again
