Just came back from Spain and I thought the motorways were pretty good - roads in old towns are a different matter. Not driven in Germany, but I have in Italy, Holland,Portugal, various Med islands, and France (obviously in the UK) and the Spannish ones are good because they are empty and smooth - the opposite of the UK
