How much did the AC compressor run you guys? did you DIY or have a mechanic do it?

87K on the SRT - 84K on the wife's Coupe & both are still running perfect. I've had the tranny fluid replaced on both but beyond the "normal" crap on the SRT (crank position sensor, IC pump) I haven't had to spend a dime on major repairs .
I had the brakes done at around 50K on both. The only things I see coming up are plugs & wires & cabin air filters. The belts & hoses on both cars feel & look great, the air filters are K&N so every 10K or so they get cleaned & re-oiled, heck just regular maintenance stuff. Oh, I do want to try replacing the supercharger oil one of these days.
Besides some road rash issues on the front ends neither have any rust or any major dinks. The wife's car does have some scrape marks on her right rear bumper due to the neighbors' dogs running their chain across it last summer, frackin' dogs.......
Both still look good enough to garner comments at car shows!

I paid 380.00 for the compressor and new dryer assembly and had it installed and recharged for 120.00 so 500.00 for the complete job.
