I am more of an aftermarket performance guy, I'll dump money where it needs to be to get good quality parts and like I said cutting some used SRT springs just doesn't sound like something I want to bother with and it's not my style.

I can assure you when done correctly theres nothing ricey about it,,,,, Mine where cut and clocked the same as before on each wheel to keep the seat consistent ,using the stock pads ,,,I could of had the E/B's but too many stories about being too soft and I didn't want to take a chance on spending money on something I wouldn't be happy with ,I enjoy my car on the twisties so I needed it to be firm ....thats what I got same firm ride as before .
Cutting the springs there was no real heat that would damage the integrity of the spring as they where cut on a saw with a coolant system...
It's just a matter of what direction each person wants to go..IMO
