Default Major Problem

Hi everyone!

Explanation of problem:

Always occurs if weather is hot and I have been listening to music lvery loud.

The ignition sometimes does not work. I turn the key, but the engine does not ignite. All warninglights illuminates and the beeping starts and the enginebay fan starts revving up extremely.

I may think that after I sometimes fiddle around with the automatic gearbox it solves it after maybe half an hour. But I do not know if that is the solving the issue.

Is it the normal RCP module and I need to do a bit of "welding" :P ?
Is it the gearbox?
Is it cooling issue?
Is it bad ignitors?

Please let me hear your thoughts as it is you guys who are the pros!

Many thanks

The Swede with an N/A white XF.

Crank position sensor is inexpensive(< $100) and is fairly easy to replace. MikeR (I think) did a write-up on how to replace.

Sorry-search.
