Default Water Injection for N/A cars

looking to if anyone here has added water injection for N/A crossfire and if they did
what was the results?

i know water injections is mostly for turbo or s/c cars because it lowers the intake temp.
but i was thinking about buying a kit and injecting a small amount of water/methanol to help
keep the combustion chamber clean, and possibly improve my mpg when i am not on the throttle because of the cleaning affect of the steam.

thanks for the help

there is no benefit on a naturally aspirated motor. water and meth injection are used in boosted applications to lower intake temps back down to a reasonable level since most turbo apps see intake temps around 120* They also use more aggressive ignition timing with meth since you wont have detonation as soon

save your money

Anybody think it might be useful in a low humidity area? Wouldn't it still cool your intake somewhat?
