Was checking the Chrysler web site for recalls and discovered a way of determining the first and last VIN# built between 2004 and 2005 model year. Build #25450 was the last 2004 xfire coupe built, and #25451 was the first 2005 xfire coupe. There are many 2005 roadsters with earlier build#'s. Mine is #24968 (Built 02/04). The earliest 2005 roadster Build# that I could find is #233282. Does anyone have a 2005 roadster with a earlier Build# than #233282?
I really don't know why I wasted all of that time trying to the first 2005 roadster built. By the way... it appears Build #23809 was the very first 2005 SRT-6 Roadster built.
Maybe someone else will find some interest in this???

Did you mean the earliest roadster was #23282 or #23328?

A build number of 233282 doesn't make sense if they are built in relatively sequential order while currently in the 50,000s.
C_Plunkett... maybe I explained this wrong. The VIN# are sequential... but when they started building the 2005 roadsters they used the next available VIN#, but changed the digit 8th from the end (which indicates the model year) with "5" instead of "4". So eariler built 2005 roadsters have VIN#'s in the same range as 2004 coupes. Example is my roadser VIN#1C3AN65L35X024968, the VIN#'s before and after mine are 2004 couples, but the VIN# on the 2004 coupes are VIN#1C3AN65L34X024967 (before mine) and VIN#1C3AN65L34X024969 (after mine).
Hopefully this makes sense.
