Default Say hi, newbie! good newbie!

Hey guys, so I'm brand new to the forum. I just bought a 2006 crossfire coupe, and I'm loving it! I was looking for some basic mods to do for it. I mainly want performance, but a new stereo would be great too . It is the base version, 6 speed, with not too much luxury in it, and that's fine by me. I enjoy it for the pleasure of driving it. Anyway, i was looking into K&N filters, and found the never ending debate about those. Then i was looking at the needswings CAI mod, but didn't really seem to find whether or not it could work on a coupe, they seemed more geared towards the SRT's. Also, I've seen that the limited version has a really great sound system in it, and was wondering if it was pretty easy to upgrade the base stereo to that level, or if there were any more efficient ways (e.g. mounting the subs in the wall behind the seats) So feel free to post your success stories with mods, or share any opinions, as I'm an open book!

I agree...welcome aboard, and black looks great...check out the search feature above...you will find a lot about sterio installs, upgrades and such. Same goes for performance mods. Everyone does their own thing on here, you have to decide which way you want to go...have fun...

a very inexpensive and popular intake mod is the mercedes clk airbox swap. find them on ebay and much more air than stock. a tune never hurts either
