Rotor Remove Help!!

Default Rotor Remove Help!!

is their a trick to get the rotors off or somthing im forgetting. im doing the rear now and its not coming off. the top is real loose and the bottoms not moving at all. please help. same for the front?

There is a lock screw in the face of each rotor - some are hex (allen) and some are torx, depending on your car. Be careful with them, they are kind of soft...you can see it in this pic: https://www.crossfireforum.org/galle.../47751/cat/500

Also, the emergency hand brake must be released to remove the rear rotors.

YEah, if the screw is out, the onl trick is a HAMMER.

Took Tazz and me a while to get one rear rotor down because of rust, so we used a hammer and a PVC tube extension.

Thanks for the picture - I copied it for my files if thats ok. I didn't know that ( set screw ) about the rotors. Handy when I have to change mine. Fronts not that way?
