Default Update to Continental DWS Availability (New Source Inside)

As everybody knows who has tried to get a set of DWS tires in the last 4-5 months, the rear tire is on national backorder, with some people waiting 5 months to get the 255/35/R19 size (as I read on some BMW forums). I thought I'd let the forum know I've found a source:

I found them here:

tires-easy.com - Details: Continental ExtremeContact DWS 255/35 ZR19 96Y BSW

It says they only have 8 left, and all tires are now 5% off (which I did not get). I wasn't too sure of ordering from them as I read some bad reviews and I never heard of them before. I had no problems however, and I ordered them Sunday, and got them this morning... with standard shipping. If anyone needs these I'd get them quick. They had 16 left when I ordered on Sunday .

From what it seems, tirerack has been getting them in in a slow trickle. I have them saved to a wishlist for when I have the money, and certain warehouses seem to have them.

I noticed a little Canadian flag on the bottom of the link. I clicked and see the Canadian price is only $219.20! first time I have seen lower Can.$ in a lot of years. (although the "fitting Stations" listed had some errors in addresses and towns.) Worth a look though.

edit:
But they want more than double the shipping $23.01- each Wash. state and $59.24 -each to BC

I just received my order from tire easy last week. Tires arrived in about three days with standard shipping. My order came out of Florida to North Carolina. Shipping was $59.12 for all four tires. I just bought some cheap ones though as I didn't have funds for the Contis. Anyway $466.12 for 4 tires shipped is still a good deal for some cheap tires. I don't drive aggressive in the car and just needed something to hold me over until more funds are freed up. The factory Conti's lasted 26k but are way past dead. Should of changed them about 3k miles ago.

I too live in North Carolina... it took one day basically and the tires came out of Maryland. Shipping was 24$. 466 isn't bad... it was 454 for the two rears alone for me. I too am on the stock Contis... mine only lasted 22k, and are cracking badly (they are 5 years old at this point though)
