water leak, wet headliner

Default water leak, wet headliner

I have a water leak. After a heavy rain the headliner is wet just behind the drivers seat. any ideas?

Lift the rear hatch door and check the rubber boot at the top of the opening, the one for the wiring pass through.

If the leak is showing up on your headliner just behind your head area then it could be a bad seal on the body where the door glass makes contact, or may even could be in the roof rail area under it, the seal may have cracked due to body stress. When mine did it, it was the door glass/body seal, and it took over 4 times to fix it at the dealer under warranty it was an 04 coupe. Hope this helps.
