Default RX8 looking

Just so you know, it's not just Crossfires that are sitting on dealers lots. Stopped by the Mazda dealer the other day and he had a line of about 18 RX8's out front and more in the back lot. I had looked at the RX8 before I bought my Crossfire, but this time I was struck by how ugly the RX-8 is. Exposure to the Crossfire's finely sculptured lines will do that to a person.

I'm a long time Mazda enthusiast and bought my first RX-7 back in 1985, a top of the line GSL-SE, fantastic car. I have driven just about every RX-7 model made, but have never driven the RX-8, just can't get by the looks. Knowing Mazda though it's probably a wonderful car to drive.

From all the TV ad's, I thought the RX-8 was hot. Then I saw one in person. Needless to say, I didn't buy one.

First time I was in one was at night! and the car looked uber sweet! then I saw it during the day... and I also see the squating frog shape... they are nice little cars but why get the rx8 instead of a Rx7 ... the body shape is just sooo much better... not a huge fan anymore of the Rx8... if you wanted ricer + power = 350z ... another car I cant stand...

Default Waiting for RX7 4 Sentimental Reasons

I Have to Agree. I Had a Deal Closed on an RX8 But the Dealer Failed to Check Inventory and Lost My Car. Offered to Replace it With Another with Different Interior Color and Complimentary CD Changer and I Passed. In My Opinion if you Could Combine the Interior of the RX8 and the Exterior of the CrossFire You Would have a Near Perfect Vehicle. I Place High Value On Interior Features as I Live Inside the Vehicle. I Actually Sent an EMail to Chrysler Stating that the CrossFire Interior and General Feature Set Was the Only Thing Preventing Me From Moving Forward with Purchase as the RX8 Options Package Was More Impressive [Navigation, Rear Seats, Free Style Doors, Superior Interior Design, Steering Wheel Controls]. One Month Later they Offered a Rebate to Directly Compete with the RX8 On Price! As Far As Demand for the CrossFire I Think Demand for All Impractical 2 Seat Sports Coupes Has to Be a Niche Industry as Most Couples Find That New Dinette and Home Improvement Loan a More Viable Use of Funds. Just Look at that Harley Commercial! I Know SomeOne Right Now that Just Took out a $30 K Home Improvement Loan for Windows, Kitchen Cabinets & General Improvements. There Goes Your CrossFire.

The S2000 Is Another Car that Would Be Great if they Did Not Charge $4000 for the Hard Top! Stone Temple Chariot.

The 350 Z is a Car that Actually Looks More Impressive on the Street. I've Seen a Few Sailing Along and the Profile is Definitely Nice.
