You're a Class act Oyster, make fun of my poor spelling. I'm so crushed.
The point I was simply trying to make is this. The Crossfire is as much of a Mercedes as your Mustang is a Ford. A steeper gear ratio was available on the Mercedes just same as it was on your Mustang.
Changing a gear ratio in your car never use to be considered a big deal.
If the highest gear ratio your car came with from the factory was a 3.91, and you turned around and put 4.10's in it, and nothing else, it was still considered STOCK. By most enthusiasts.
When the SRT guys run lower profile DR's at the drags, and nothing else, would you actually go up to one of them and say nice times, but it's not stock?
This has passed ridiculous. As I said in my original post, it's debatable and it is an opinion. I don't agree with your standpoint simply because you couldn't order a CROSSFIRE with taller gears. If you had been able to, yes it would, in my opinion, still be considered a 'bone stock car'. Its not that difficult of a concept to fathom.
As far as you accusing me of being classless, you were the one who 'challenged' me with the amount of vehicles I have purchased as if that is even relevant. But just to show you that I do have a bit o' class in me, I bow to your tenure here at crossfireforum.org and respect that. I've also thought your posts that I've read to be knowledgeable and helpful to others. So I'll bow out of this now as it wasn't my intention to get into a pissing contest with anyone. I'm a die hard XF fan and appreciate there is a forum dedicated to like minded enthusiasts. Cheers!

I love a good fight.... when I am not involved!
Lets chill out!
I wonder what would happen if I put a V8 in a smart car.
