Default Road & Track Data sheet

My computer wallpaper is the Data Sheet for an '04 Coupe. I found it at Road & Track's website. I like the X-ray view of the car.

I wish the magazines had all this info on all cars, even the oldies.

Nice post, I made sure to save that image. There is something pretty funny (and very incorrect) listed in on the specs, though. Anyone else catch it yet?

Good one, but not what I was referring to. There is something far more incorrect than that, and something that we all wish it actually had...

Yup, thats the one! Probably just a typo, considering they got the other engine information correct, but V8 from the factory sure would have been sweet!

I recall a Road & Track one page review of the roadster with a pic of a yellow one. They liked the super stiff suspension, but critiqued the shifter if memory serves correctly.

Maybe the one they tested did have a V8, how else could they have averaged 18 mpg???? 1st gear all day long? My stick aves > 25 & the automatic gets 23.5. I suppose if you did all your testing on a track that might happen, but why report that kind of info?

Guess it was Automobile mag I saw, although both Car and Driver and R&T have roadster reviews in their archives.

My guess is this time of year, it is more likely to be snow shoveled than grass mowed

That data sheet also lists the front tires as 235/40s.....did the 04's come with 235s or 225s like the 07s/08s?

Be sure to click on the link that says "Download: 2004 Chrysler Crossfire Data Panel" to see the whole thing, not just the pic I posted.

I updated this with the proper engine, the V6...the original showed a V8.
