Well, I haven't updated this thread in a while, but a chapter has just been finished. So, an independent appraiser looked at the car. He found major flaws with the repair work (no big surprise to me). My insurance company is writing me a check to get the car re-fixed. Amazingly, the cost to re-do the work done by the original bodyshop is more than they were paid to do the work. So, the bodyshop actually did more damage to the cars paint job than the vandal(s) did...

In case I didn't mention it, the bodyshop that did the work was Hardyston Collision in Hardyston NJ. Please don't ever even consider having them do work on your car! Their work is sub-par and they have a bad attitude, too.
