Download the PDF service manuel < somewhere on the forum) and see if there is an exploded pic of what goes where. My guess is a rubber plug on the bottom is gone and water is flinging up to the setbelt

Some ladies outside drewling at you and your fit car? Solution, invite them in or close windows...
Then you will have a wet seat instead...

I am sure you are worried about a leak so I will not add another joke post to this thread since I am sure you consider this a serious issue. I was very concerned when I noticed my leak.

I had a small leak near the triangle of the passenger window. I had to bring it in to the dealership and they adjusted the window to press it up against the rubber seal. It took the dealership a couple trys but they finally got it. No more leak.

There was a TSB out on this so it is possible your window just may need an adjustment... either the pitch/angle or the actual length of the window.. They can control both the angle of the window and the length so that it makes better contact with the rubber seal. I am willing to bet that is all you need to keep the inside dry.

Now if you notice water on the floor board when it is not raining outside then that is something totally different.

I adjusted my window as it had a whistling noise and I added this post on how it was adjusted.

A great write up. Only problem is I had the problem 2 years ago before you wrote this. I had it done at the dealership free under the max care warranty. It was technically not covered but the dealership knew that if they replaced a certain bolt it would cover the entire job.

Has anyone been in the passenger seat of the car recently and was it in any way wet out?

My first guess would be it got caught in the door and 'left outside' the car for some length of time, if no passengers, then my load is shot

If it's not a Sticky and you want to archive it to your PC, go to the File Menu, select File, Save As, select Webpage Complete, then save it to your Desktop, or a new Folder of your choice.

I've been building myself a nice personized Folder of excellent Forum threads that I want quick easy access to, rather than using the Forum Search function.

The only limit to what can be archived is the size of your hard drive (and individual threads saved in this manner are relatively small)...

I have now taken my car into the dealer. The initial fix was to put some rubber butyl around the weather striping of the passenger side rear triangular window. I took the car home and put the hose to this area.. and it still leaks! I think the weather striping / seal that runs the length of the window and down may need to be replaced.. any thoughts?

When you spray the window seal area you have to do it in a systematic manner, spray a small area and check that area for leaks and proceed around the seal. Dry off the window after each step, blasting water at the window does not tell you the exact spot that it is leaking. The water could be going in one area and showing up in another.
The area shown in the photo could be a weak spot as it is the junction of four sealed joints. The L shaped pocket is a drain that allows any water in that area to go inside the door and run out the drain in the bottom corner of the door.
The seals in this area should show signs of being compressed when the door is closed.
