Default I trying to find a 74mm TB for my N/A xfire

I have been searching for hours on the forum and found nothing on a MB part number that is a direct bolt-on 74mm TB. Is this true? I read some guys buying from tvt but they no longer in. Anything helps thx.

I assume you would need an aftermarket CAI such as the NeedsWings rig or a stock MB airbox and larger diameter tubing?

I haven't done this mod but from what I've read the TB coupled with a quality CAI (I believe the NeedsWings is the only quality CAI for the x-fire) will give you a nice boost...maybe 5 to 10 hp. (?). TB's are very easy to install. Usually 2 or four bolts depending on the engine.

So can someone confirm...the 74mm does not work with the stock airbox without modification? Would there be any benifit using the 74mm with a stock airbox vs NeedsWings CAI? Does the ECU adapt without error?

Thanks.
