Default Loose Headlight

So it seems my crazy trip from Seattle to TX through one of the worst blizzards came with some consequences. It looks like my headlight holder/whatever you want to call it , that attach the head light to the body broke . It looks like it had broken before since my car has a rebuilt title and someone made some repairs to it. Do you guys have any ideas , or am I looking at a new headlight ?

Yep! Looks broken and rigged to me. I'm looking for damaged headlights for both sides. If you do replace that one,let me know how much you will be asking. thanks...Squirrel Crusher

These are too expensive to toss away just because of a broken bracket. What was done before is a Mickey Mouse solution, you can surely come up with a better idea.
How about attaching a new bracket to the back of the lamp unit with epoxy resin and fiber glass holding it in place. It will not look to hot from the back but all you will see is a bracket from above, painted black it will be hard to spot. there are some rubber seals missing as well, look at another car.

The gap between the headlight and body is insane, and it looks like this may not be the only half baked fix on this car.

Like Dave said, use a resin or epoxy and make a decent bracket that will actually hold the light. When I had mine out, I noticed 2 of the brackets broken, so I used 'perfect plastic' and bonded them back to the headlight and painted black, no one can tell b/c I did everything on the underside.

Good luck.
