Condolences and good luck with the repairs. Even if she does not have collision for her POS, she has to have liability coverage for damage to other cars or structures. It is also possible you can apply to her insurance company for reimbursement of your deductible if you end up paying. MI is no-fault, and when I was hit in a prior car I had to fix it using my insurance, but I was able to recover the deductible from the insurance company of the guy that hit me. Inquire through your insurance company.

Yeah, so far things are going smoothly, turns out my pessimism as been put to rest. She was insured, and her company is making the trip tomorrow to take a look at the crossfire and make sure initial estimate is accurate, I then plan to take it in and have it repaired.

Are any of you familiar with Kansas Coach Works in Lenexa Ks. (Kansas City Suburb)
I paid a visit earlier to day and was pleased with both there service and shop cleanliness.

It looks as if her car had an aftermarket can opener installed. Good luck with the repairs.

(no pun intended).

You have any more pics you can post of this process? Thanks!
