Smile Exhaust question...

Fellas.

I love my crossfire but I've come to realize.... Its way to quiet.
My previous car was a 5.0 and it was loud a hell.
So, the question is. Should I straight pipe my baby?
Or just put flowmasters on it?

If you just want the sound then the Magnaflow or Borla exhaust will provide you with a bit more sound, but several other members have reported a bit of a drone at cruising speeds. You won't really see any performance improvement with the exhaust, so if you are looking for performance and sound you may be SOL.

I just want sound. That'd be enough for me.

Watch all the youtube videos there are for the different exhausts available. Flowmasters are the loudest and probably have the most drone. Seems like the majority of people go with Magnaflow, like myself.

If you just want sound...and are cheap (like me ) ....the Megan Racing M-RS Muffler is the way to go.

I have it on my Crossfire ('05 Black N/A).

YouTube - Megan Racing Crossfire Exhaust

Price was $147.62 shipped to my door, paid $80 for install since the muffler comes with a Y split and the stock muffler is offset on the right hand side.

The guy just cut it off, bent a new piece of piping, and welded the new one one. (It is NOT a direct bolt on like I believe the Magnaflow is?)

Anyway, It's louder than !@#$ and I love it (slight drone at low RPM if you're coasting)

Feel free to PM me with questions

-Eric
