Default wind buffing with just driver window down...

i can only drive my crossfire with both windows down

at certain speeds with only one window down the buffing of the air noise is unbearable.

do others notice the same problem?

Most vehicles are like this. Crack the other window and you should be fine.

andrew,

i've yet to own a vehicle that didn't have a booming sound from pressure differentials. in some vehicles it only occurs when the rear windows are open, in others when only one front window is open. i've experienced it in the crossfire. you just need to make sure that if one window is down that the other is open at least a little. here's a good article that discusses the severe extra low frequency pulsating sound found in toyota highlanders:

i was used to my M3 rear windows that had the ability to vent/crack (via power)...maybe this is why bmw did this.

That means the car is air tight and very well sound proofed. It's a good thing. My Acura doesn't do that, even after I sound proofed the thing.

Yeah, I test drove one about a month ago. It's a really sturdy and fun car.
