Default Black on triple black on black

I acquired my new Dash kit in plain Black to install in my Black RST6 Coupe. Getting rid of that silver monstrosity. The peel and stick plastic overlay is a high polish deep black as is the car finish. Fun to do. Gary

How will that do in the sunlight? I would think it would conduct heat...as I was thinking of doing something like that in the roadster, if I thought I wouldn't burn myself...

I would say that Doc has it right, you'll be able to fry eggs while driving, instead of just on the hood.

The interior of the car is black. all heat sink. I love the sun and heat. I no longer generate enough. Gary

heat is not an issue. It is a coupe. The job took two hours far better than paint and out last the car. cost was $125. gary earlier job carbon fiber in roadster. no heat repercussions.

That will look sharp. Use one of the kits so it leaves the silver thin surround, or was it more like a vinyl mask? heat doesn't bother them at all. I like my woodgrain. Rosewood on black.

I thought about the stick on but still leaves a lot of silver. Some eBay hunting and a few hours of work will get you black black. Still gotta replace my airbag light and lighter but very happy with the results.
