Head Lamp assembly
What's wrong with it? My son just returned from Tallahassee with his 2007 and I noticed the driver headlight was not fitting correctly. Popped the hood and found the rear plastic mount was broken. No sign of any impact damage on the lens. I suspect some fat FLA redneck leasat on the light...heavily. Any other ideas out there? Anyone ever try to repair something like this with plastic reinforcement pieces and superglue?
I think your best bet to try, would be JBWeld Epoxy. I would think you could loosen the other three bolts, reposition and tighten the light so the fourth (broken) mount is exactly where it is supposed to be. Then JBWeld it in place.
These light assy are so rigid, I don't see it a problem with only 3 mounts being useful.
