 Sorry you missed us. Yes, that stop was deleted from our route about 2 days before we went. Nobody signed up saying they were going to meet us there so there was no need to stop - you said you'd see us in Santa Monica, so that's where we were looking for you. Also - did you not get the email with all our cell phone numbers :?:
Will you be able to make it to the Sin City (Las Vegas) run in September? We are looking forward to another Great Crossfire Day !!! :!: Hope to see you then. 8)

Hey Gang,
We finally got back from the Left Coast Hook-Up yesterday. Had a great time and met some mighty fine people who just happened to own Crossfire's!!! We achieved our goal of getting the most Crossfirefs in one place at one time ever and turned heads and caused jaws to drop wherever we went.
We left Santa Monica, merged on the Pacific Coast Highway and got the group settled in for the drive north. All totaled, 13 cars out of 15 showed up. The most we had together at any one time were 11 cars... a sight to behold for sure.
The drive north was an awesome event. We didnft have time to do the 17 Mile Drive at Pebble Beach as we were running a little over an hour late. We went straight to Tarpyfs Roadhouse for a good dinner. My better half, Beth was surprised by the birthday cake, card and gift from everyone. It really topped off an already great day. Thanks!!!
After dinner we had to say our goodbyes. Five cars agreed to meet for breakfast the next morning in downtown Monterey. Of course Patrick and Kris had their gBlackh XF parked in front of the restaurantc looking good!!! The drive along Pebble Beach was awesome. Good looking cars and fabulous scenery. Where was Chrysler??? The eggheads missed some pretty good PR photos and free advertising.
At the famed Lone Cyprus, it was time for folks to head home. Connie and Don stayed on with us for a couple of days. We toured around Monterey and continued the trip north to San Francisco on Monday. We even managed to "capture" an Audi TT!!! Tuesday they had to head home. Beth and I played around SF another day before heading back down the coast to Santa Monica. We stopped off in San Simeon and took a tour of Hearst Castle. We finished up our trip checking out the beaches, doing the Universal Studio thing, cruising Rodeo Drive, Wilshire Blvd and Beverly Hills. Of Course we turned heads every where we went. Tons Of MBfs, Porschefs and Audifs but we were center stage.
Saturday morning came too soon. We put #2815 aka AZXFIRE into the wind for the six hour drive back to Phoenix.
We want to thank everyone for making the first ever Crossfire Hook-Up an event that surely deserves a place in Crossfire history. We had a ball and enjoyed meeting everyone!!! Wefll see you at the gSin City Hook-Uph in Las Vegas, NV on September 11th.
Oh!!! A special thanks to everyone who told off that red VW Beetle that didn't know how to park!!! Saved me a few door dings...
I took over 700 photos... I narrowed them down to 200. When you have time check them out at the following links:
