aftermarket fuel filter
Shop installed the above cause fuel pressure to decrease car made choking noised & died .. after 1 month .. Got stuck 200 mile from home .. Strongly suggest orginal replacement filter not worth the savings
Translation....
I had a shop install an aftermarket fuel filter on my car. As a result of installing this filter, I noticed a decrease in fuel pressure. Within one month of this filter being installed, my car began making a choking noise and died. The worst part was that I found myself stuck 200 miles from home when it died. For anyone needing to replace their fuel filter, I would highly recommend purchasing the OEM part. The money that I saved by purchasing an aftermarket part was not worth the headaches that ultimately ensued.
I would assume that English is not his native language.
