tail pipe problem solved!

Default tail pipe problem solved!

i painted my rear pipes with heat resistent paint , to stop the black that builds up on the the the tail pipes. check my album for photos and tell me what you think.

Looks good now but what makes you think it will prevent carbon buildup? It will still build up, but won't be as noticeable since you now have painted the insides black.

Yeah it does look good but IMO I like the shine w/o the paint. I wash once a week too and my pipes and rims don't get real dirty. I guess I'm lucky though cuz I've heard most people get a lot of brake dust.

Hey NJ u didn't change your brake pads yet?You must not slow down much!I had to clean my FT wheels every day! Until i got new pads!

Do they make ceramic pads for the Xfire yet? I know the Raybestos Quiet Stops are the same thing as the AC Delco Dura Stops that I use on the Z06 and lots of other Corvette guys use them as well. Is there a Quiet Stop fitment for the Xfire?
