Default Park Distance Sensors

Has anyone bought these or have any other information on them? I know the part number is 82208246 and they have to drill in the rear bumper. I was wondering what do they install in the dash if anything and so forth. I want to know if they are worth it in the end.

From the description on the MOPAR site, the system appears to just be a "beep" system. Probably mounts in the boot somewhere and just beeps louder and more frequently as you get closer to something. Does NOT appear to have any in-dash component.

The Pioneer AVIC-N1 system can be had with integrated cameras so that you get a true rear view on the display when backing.

Hi...

I thought of getting the sensor to detect when a vehicle behind me pulls up toooo close... happens too often.. or at least it looks like they're too close...
