2'' lowering springs
does anyone know of any sprigs that lower 2'', right nowi have the h and r springs and it lowers 1'' in front and 1.3'' in back but i want it lowr for that more exotic and agressive stance, post if you know of 2'' springs for the xfire.
i looked up the slk eiback pro kit springs but i onlyfound it where it said lowering from 1'' to 1.5'', i want tha 2'' like urwhite one. right now im on h and r springs and its 1'' in the front and 1.3'' in te back but like i said i want 2'', if you could post the exact number or where i could find it i wouldmuch appreciate it sir.
Be prepared to spend a few dollars modifying your suspension or you will ruin a set of very expensive tires in 5,000 miles. You will need the factory front camber adjustment kit (hope that's good enough but only gives you .5 degrees) and an aftermarket rear camber adjustment kit. Experience talking.

additionally, i never made any additional suspension mods after my alignment... yes the rear has negative camber but my tires lasted 25k or so with the lowering springs and koni shocks i later added.
hope this helps.
(they lowered the car approximately 2" ... as seen in pics below) ...

hey I know this is a few weeks old but what size tires are you running for a reference?
Thanks

i also added h&r wheels spacers to push the wheels out to the fender edge providing a more aggresive stance.
Lowered CF's look great! I have a set of 4 H&R (1"F, 1.2"R)I bought but am chickening out on trying to install myself. Would anyone make a guess on how much I should spend to have them installed and aligned? I can't get any quotes under $350 here in DFW area.
Thanks

$350 for the spring install and 4 wheel alignment dosent sount too off base to me.... at $90/hr for labor and $85 for alignment (here) that would be about 3 hours labor... I would guess labor to be between 2 to 3 hours actual... what they charge is not actual labor time..
Cut SRT springs 1 full round dropped the car 2 inches even with new camber bolts in the front I was still too far neg , had to get K-macs to get to spec on the front . seems to me I have seen many different setups some are able to get their alignment right and others are not< IMO new camber bolts are a shot in the dark when car is lowered 2" or more.
It has been a learning experence for me
