When Dan retires in about 16 more months he plans to travel across the great USA on a road trip to Alaska.
He IS NOT moving to Alaska but will visit Alaska and spend several months on the overall Journey.
I'm sure he will explain better than I sooner or later.
He will return to Florida after his journey and I assume remain there still as his permanent home.

You warned me about doing this Dan. I didn't think you would do it. You better come to the Dragon. You are more than welcome to bum a ride with me. Congrats on the new vehicle. I know that you will have Crossfire withdrawal soon after it's gone.

Wishing you the best in the future, Dan - it was great meeting you at the Texas Motor Speedway...here's a couple of bits of nostalgia:

Good luck in the future and hopefully our paths will cross again!

To all the comments.....thank you so much!!! Like I said, the friendships are PRICELESS. I will definitely be around and do intend to show my face at the dragon as well as Woodward (best vacation of my life), and even Carlisle is still in the pic....I'll just be in another spot on the field. Kim has about cleaned me out of all the extras that I took off the car. About all I have left are the lighted door sills, stage one injectors, and the God-forsaken cup holder. I promise to get a post up in the parts for sale section soon with what little Kim left me with.

My AWD Durango R/T (yes, with a HEMI) should be delivered between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival and have instructed the salesman to notify me of every foot that it moves down the assembly line. Don't think that will happen, but I put it out there.

Mineral Gray with Black interior (red accents). Every option available except the rear entertainment system. Pics will come when I get it. The least attractive part of the new Durango is the rear....sorta looks like a mini-van from that angle, but I can live with it.

it won't sound like a mini van... Alaska can be pretty hard on paint Dan...you might want those ugly mud flaps for the trip, then throw them away once out of the NW Territory...lol

I think the heat from the exhaust burned his feet and legs....Dan will be back in a crossfire someday, after his "Travelin'" is over...
