wow...my first oil change = $110.
I dunno about cheap, the filter from NAPA is about $14 and the oil from WalMart (Mobile One 0W 40) is sold there for 6.67 per quart, all this is $67.36 plus 7% state sales tax. Then you have to rid yourself of the old oil and filter. This of course is a DIY project.
My first oil change in May of last year was $35 at the dealership. I got another one just last month and it was $60! When I called around to check prices the most expensive one was $118, I was shocked as well!!

Phoning around for the cheapest is liable to get you the cheapest, ask what oil and filter was used.

I don't know anyone who is willing to sell something, and install it, or less than he paid for it, and Mobile1 is not cheap.....
I don't remember the exact cost of my first oil change. What I do remember was the feel'n that I was take'n proper care of a car that puts a grin on my face! Kinda like the first flowers I bought for da little woman.
I hope to be around to do many more expensive oil changes..............and buy many more flowers. After all it's only money.
