What MikeR meant, was that there is no input jack for a MP3 player. The player will indeed play burned disks however....

Will it read burned MP3 discs? I think not... I've tried without success.

The OEM Radios that came with the Xfire (Standard and Nav) do not have an Aux/MP3 plug-in, and will NOT play Disc Burned MP3 Audio files.

There is no wiggle room on this, and it will not change.

It will play standard music files of your favorite Artist, which are typical of purchased Music CD's.

If you are adventurious, you can take MP3 files, convert them to the standard CD Audio Format (.cda file extension) and Burn those to a blank CD, and your OEM Radio will play them.

With the CDA format, you will only get on average about 10 to 15 standard length songs per blank CD.

One of the beauties or MP3, is the average file size is about 3 meg max, which means that a standard CD will hold on average 200 to >250 songs (your mileage will vary)...lol...

You want MP3, yank your OEM Radio, and buy a new Radio that supports the format...

It burns them in the standard audio CD format by default, placing a wma file or an mp3 file directly on a disk will not work as it is data not audio.

I bought an FM transmitter with bluetooth. It plays fronm a SAN card, a flash drive, and your ipod via plug and play. Works good. 50 bucks, no install. Play thru existing system.
