Default Dipstick "O Ring? I goofed ... wrong info

This is my BAD, and I'm sorry. I posted previously that when visiting with Rudy, I thought I saw him use the extra "O" ring that comes with the Mann and K&N oil filters, and put it on the dipstick. Not true!!! I talked with Rudy today at Speedriven (they're doing some maintenance on my coupe), and he said that the "O" ring he puts on the dipstick is the old smaller one off the oil filter housing. Not the extra medium ring. That indeed is just "extra". Evidently used on other newer cars with longer housings. So I say ..."my bad"

I have been using the small one off the filter post for the last couple of oil changes..... I am only a couple hundred miles from doing it again.....

just found out where the 5th O ring goes. The oil filter cap unscrews from the shaft that the filter goes on. If you unscrew it you will see it. I was also told that if the shaft isn't loose. Leave it alone. Don't replace the O ring if the shaft isn't loose.
