Gas Tank Reserve??
Please explain how the gas tank reserve works (how ever dumb of a question this may be)? According to the manual there is 15.9 US gallons in the tank and a 2.1 gallon reserve. On the gas guage at 1/6 of a tank the red empty area begins.
What exactly does this mean? After finishing the tank there is still an additional 2.1 gallons remaining; then the tank would be truly empty!! Is that correct?

I ran mine once down to the point where the fuel guage stopped moving, just as a check.
When I filled it up, it took 15.4 gallons.
I usually fill up when it gets to the middle of the "red zone".

The tank holds 15.9 gallons, of which 2.1 gallons is the reserve. When the light comes on, which happens at the top of the red segment in the guage, there is 2.1 gallons of fuel remaining in the tank.
