Default ouch....glad this isn't my car....temp tag & all.

i noticed this car behind my local chrysler dealer...in the rain. a hard impact on the driver's front corner....it buckled the bumper support structure and fender housing. i'd hate to be in those shoes.

it's kind of neat to see what's behind those fenders. i hope this one makes it into carfax...for the next owner's sake.

Great pics! I wouldn't have taken delivery on it anyway unless Mr. or Mrs. Nelson removed their name from the paint under the left tailight!!!!

You may have found bobby's car

Agreed, I hate those slapped on dealer free ads. Temp. plates, way too bad that Crossfires can't choose their drivers.

I walked on a deal back in the 70,s because the dealer drilled and put their name on my car after I asked them not to do it. I think the salesman could have **** when I walked out.

Luckily all my dealer did was put a cheesy black plastic license plate frame on the rear.

As for the photos above...it looks remarkably intact and in good shape for how many body parts are now missing.

The front driver's side frame looks tweeked... not sure I'd want it.

I bet he's wishing he didn't upgrade to the crappy continentals. With the michelins he would have been fine doing 80mph on that highway ramp.

Those name plates are stuck on to the car with dubble sided tape made by 3m. Dealers have not drilled into the sheet metal since the 60's because once you break through the primer you then void the factory rust proof warranty which in any chrysler product is 7 years 100 thousand miles. So lets all understand the practice of drilling to apply dealer logo's does not exist any more. All you need is a blow dryer and two fingers to pop one off. Please don't run out of the showroom so fast. And rember if any crossfire owner paid between 5 and 15 million dollors for a chrysler franchise you can bet that every car on the lot would have there name on it just like Mr&Mrs Nelson Bobby n Graphite #2551 6sp

Wouldn't run out of the showroom-would simply insist that those be removed before delivery. No problem with license plate frames as advertisement, but plastering names, logos, etc on the car's paint is unacceptable PERIOD!

Default ouch...

i found out the history on this car. the father allowed his son to drive the car by himself....he rear ended another car.

now the engine has been removed from the crossfire and is sitting in the service area. apparently the engine had to be removed to straighten the bent frame. bummer.

From one of the pictures it looks like he was about to run out of windscreen washer. Maybe he couldn't see for the insects on the screen.

:!: Seriously though, does anyone know how much the balance of the car is affected from have a full bottle to an empty one?

Balance from a full and empty windshield fluid reservoir is probably minimal. The total capacity of it is 1 1/2 gallons, therefore @ 8.33 lbs per gallon, youre at 12.45lbs, above the right tire. hmmm. maybe that does make a difference.

As for the advertising on your car, all it takes is simply asking the salesperson to remove the sticker or emblem prior to delivery. As for the plate advertisement, either you remove it or ask them too. simple.. no need to walk on a deal or get upset its a form of free advertising to them.
