i cant stand the look if the front chrysler wings...the rear one looks good..can the front one be removed without looking strange????

 

There is an indentation for it to sit in, that may look strange to some if it's empty.

Well that wil be strange as well to my eyes. Do you think the next prospective owner will like it? It could cost you a sale.

 

the crossfire is a car that i will keep forever....its uncommon, and looks very different than most cars...its a keeper.

 

~ you may want to wrap it in orcal vinyl first to see how it looks.

I agree on the fake chrome look, but I was also not a fan of the sebring/minivan grille either....

I just filled my emblem indentation on the wings and painted them body color (graphite). Some may not like, but some are crotchety old farts anyway

I do not have any pictures on this PC, but I will try to upload one or two for you to see the difference.

If you need to remove them, there are retainer clips on the back side of the emblem that you will need to gently 'pry' off by applying even pressure on all sides of the clip so as to not break the plastic stantions on the wing that attach through the hood. Then there is double sided tape holding it in place (like the rear emblem). It is a simple removal, but it takes time to not break anything and get all the residue off from the double sided tape...

I painted mine. In reality they're not that expensive if you need to get a replacement, so who really cares?

The dude that made/sells the CF hood had some CF front emblems listed for $75. But he hasn't PM'd me back so I don't know if he has them anymore.

But they look amazing! So maybe you'll have better luck than I in that department.
