Question What spec do I have

Can anyone give me a link so that I can find out spec my new car is.
If it is of any consequence it has the subs installed behind the seats. In the SLK this meant it was the higher spec. Is it the same for the XF?

You are correct, the base or SE (special edition) models did not have the subs behind the seats, but all limiteds and SRTs do. It is a limited at the least.

Is there a giant ironing board afixed to the rear hatch?

Primarily the car was targeted for the US market and the Base and SE's were only available in the US. It's my understanding that variations on the North American "limited" spec was available globally, as was the SRT.........of course I could be wrong.

The Base coupe and roadster was sold internationally as the "BlackLine" edition.

I am glad to say I don't have the Ironing board on the back, wouldn't be able to insure an SRT and definately couldn't afford the exorbitant price of petrol we have to pay on this side of the pond. I am glad to hear that I have the better spec thou.

Cheers Guys

Another clue to your ride being a Limited model is the windshield trim & door handles are silver. The Special Edition models had the silver door handles but the windshield trim was still black.

Yep, Blue Coupe, i think you are right, here in Aussie you can only buy the Limited and SRT6's, no Base or SE models here, and I am very proud owner of a BLACK coupe! But it wont be long before a SRT6 will be sitting alongside it, just as soon as I can persuade my wife to let me sell our boat, used to really enjoy the boat until we bought the Crossfire!

I'll say that if the base model was offered in satin black like that photo, they would have sold like hotcakes. Imagine that car with matched wheels...

Some of the pictures in my post below shows less than shiny black paint.

I never did get any feedback on the German wording contained in the brochure contents.

I love that matte finish, but others may be inclined to give it to Mike in Orange to try his Meguiars products on.

I'm sorrybut, I have to know...was there really a Harley Daivison model for the Crossfire? Harly says not, but maybe they used the HD colors and called it that? Sounds like a sales spin. Ok, History buffs is this really true. Harley says it has only worked with Ford. Got to know....
