When I got my new Coupe, there was no plug/cover/lighter in the power outlet in the center console. The salesperson said they'd order one. They ordered one from Germany, but when it came in it wasn't close to correct. Service guys said when they realized it wasn't right, they went out in the lot and checked the other Crossfires and none of them had plugs or covers in the power outlet. One had a lighter.

Anyone know what gives? This big hole looks goofy. I told them I'd take a lighter if that's all I could get.

 

Odd, mine came with a lighter. Not sure why yours didn't. Seems strange the salesperson didn't notice, that something was missing.

 

Mine came with a cigar lighter. Not that I'll ever use it...

I think I used the lighter in my previous vehicle less than a 1/2 dozen times in 3 years. The outlet however gets used daily (cell phone charger).
