Congrats! I do love the graphite color. I had the same colored coupe for about year. If possible, you should join us at the Tail of the Dragon in April. You'll really appreciate your car after driving some of the roads there.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! I'm sure I'll get more in tune with the car soon enough and I just may have to take you up on that tail of the dragon invite . I can't wait to learn more from the vast amount of knowledge this forum has to offer! Thanks again!

Haha, I was diagnosed with permagrin the moment I bought the car.

Just curious, I remember reading somewhere that the screen on our oem head units can be inverted. Mine currently has a dark screen and light letters / numbers; how can I change it to a light screen with dark letters? I have searched on how to do this but can't seem to find out how.

At least on the NAV Unit..

"I have noticed several people mention their radio display was set in the Negative Mode (Dark Background/Light Numbers & Letters). This is an adjustable function. The Navigation User's Manual, page 99, under Display Settings will let you set the mode to Positive, Negative and Automatic (controlled by the headlight switch). I have the auto mode set. This gives you the light background/dark numbers during the day and switches to the dark background/light numbers at night when the headlights are turned on.

To select a setting, request the user menu and press the LCD multifunction key to select the negative, positive, or automatic mode."

Haha! O, did I say download a manual? I meant download music to listen to while I figure it out for myself.

well, I looked through the manual and found nothing. On page 107 it states that the lcd setting is an option in my car but there is no lcd setting under the options menu on the head unit.

Well, it seems as though I don't have the nav unit in my car. I guess this means I can't change the display.... -_-
