Default High output alternator available upto 260 amp

hey guys did some digging around since i was curious about getting a high output alternator for the crossfire and wanted to see if we could crossreference a slk alternator or another mercedes alternator for use on our crossfires. I have not done much business with this company but in the aftermarket world for alterntors they are regarded highly. I am still confirming with them it will work for us an if it will work on all models. I believe all the alternators are same between the different crossfires. Here is my email between them and the ebay page.

Dear trafficjamz,

i have a 2008 chrysler crossfire and it is heavily based of the mercedes slk from 98-04. i want to look into getting a high output alternator and want to see if you will be able to supply one. the 2004-2007 crossfire alternator is compatible with

CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2004-2007 V6 3.2L
MERCEDES BENZ C230 2002 L4 2.3L
MERCEDES BENZ C240 2001-2002 V6 2.6L
MERCEDES BENZ C240 2003-2005 V6 2.6L Base Models only
MERCEDES BENZ C32 AMG 2002-2004 V6 3.2L
MERCEDES BENZ C320 2001-2003 V6 3.2L
MERCEDES BENZ C320 2004-2005 V6 3.2L Base Models only
MERCEDES BENZ CLK320 2003-2005 V6 3.2L
MERCEDES BENZ ML320 2002-2003 V6 3.2L
MERCEDES BENZ ML350 2003-2005 V6 3.7L
MERCEDES BENZ SLK320 2001-2004 V6 3.2L

not sure if the 2008 is the same i would like a high output option if not can you use the stock one and rewind it to increase the amp from 120.

this is the specs he gave me for idle amp and high output amp. I like 240amp/140amp as i feel it gives a good mix of idle amperage and high output which should take care of the additional power to feed the amps.

Anyone interested in a group buy we would need 3 people to commit and be able to get a 10% discount.

I would like to join that list, but that might have to wait until I get my small share of my taxes back. chris
