problems with '04 engine?
When I first started researching the crossfire on the internet I came across a page on edmunds.com that showed the '04 model as having significant engine problems so I avoided that year in my search for cars for sale. Here is the link:
2005 Chrysler Crossfire Base 3.2L V6 6-speed Manual Reliability
You will have to scroll down a little to see the chart that show all the years of the crossfire displayed since this page is based on the '05 model.
Does anyone know what they're talking about here or had any significant issues with the engine in the '04?
Thanks,
Taylor

I have seen nothing here on the forum to indicate that 2004 engines are any different from the 2005-2008 NA engines. As far as I know, there were NO differences between N/A engines in any model year.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.

They had a recall on the radiator cooling fans on the 04's. I think there may have been some TSB's on some manual transmissions popping out of gear, and/or "notchy" shifting issue.
But other than that, I don't recall anything about the engines being any different in the 04's than any of the other years.

All N/A drivetrain's are the same other than the what has been mentioned above and some very early ones have a different diff set up... otherwise they're solid.
I'm identical to Valkryderguy as far as years owned and same mileage at this point. Have had zero problems so far.
