June 2004 U.S. Crossfire Sales
1,439 (vs. 1,669 in May 2004)
2004 YTD = 7,636
2003 = 4,021
Total U.S. sales through June 2004 = 11,657
Total 04 production = 25-26K units.
Anyone know how many units are intended or have been sold overseas? I was just curious as to how many 04s are left on the lots. Probably too many.

I was lucky enough to send three happy customers home with new Crossfires in June! Crossfire customers are the happiest customers ever!
The dealership I sell for has eleven 04s in inventory. We have sold about 50 04s and 12 05s to date .

When CF first came out they were saying that 20,000 were going to be made in the first year and 80% or 16,000 units of that would go to the US market. The rest would be sold in the EU. The were gonna up the production though over the next few years.
Oh, I don't know if you guys know this or if it has been posted elswhere on this forum already but only about 60% of all dealerships in the US participate in the CF program. Since they had to invest $16 Grand in tools parts and education, a lot of smaller dealers felt it wasn't worth it especially since they would get only 1 or 2 CF's per year.
