I am just a curious about how common these problems actually are, I am a little worried about the price of maintenance!!! How many people here have been able to just drive the car with normal maintenance and go lets say 80/90k without any problems???

The RCM problem can be addressed before any trouble occurs. Simple repair really. As for the other sensors mentioned, they fail just as often as other auto manufacturers, no more, no less. It just sounds bad because it gets mentioned here everytime it happens. One good thing is that you can replace it yourself using all the info posted on this forum. Oil changes are part of regular maintenance but are on the expensive side, more so if you have someone else do it. But I wouldn't let that deter me from buying a Crossfire. Tires can cost more for this car than the average daily driver, again still worth the cost for the enjoyment of the car.

Going to a dealership and counting the cars on the hoists does not reflect the overall reliability of that makers cars. Just like hospitals do not reflect the health of the general population.

You would be better of not searching the web for symptoms of illnesses or you will start wondering why you are still breathing.
