Default A Few Pics of my Machine

Here's a few pics (big files -- sorry. but size DOES matter  !) of my black CF just after a Tech Wax job. 8)

If you just want to see the thumbnails, hit the "Album" icon at the bottom of my post.

The mural is in Tacoma, WA. It is just off a main street by the railroad tracks. My BF was testing out my new digital camera. It works great! And indeed the mural is a great background.

I am new to this. But I love it. Have already had a few of my questions answered, such as the speed at which the spoiler deploys and the thump from the back when stopped.

I bought my Crossfire in January. And I love it. Ok, Ok, I love the attention it gets me as well.

Using the wink and surprise emoticons, I thought it would be obvious that I was having a little joke. You must have a different sense of humour over the pond.

I park in disabled and family parking bays if I have to, so I don't get my XF bashed. I do tend to be parked straight in these wide bays though.

I've even carpeted my garage wall so I don't scrape the doors at home.

I don't think very highly of people that park sideways or crooked in a parking spot, whether intentionally, or from being in a hurry, ESPECIALLY if its an up-close parking spot. Parking crooked is just asking for attention and could result in jelious revenge. When I'm driving my junker and I see someone parked like that I try my best to park right next to them, if possible, close enough so that they have to climb in the passenger door.

Crossfire owners should be beyond the ricer mentality. Just find a remote spot and park straight.

LOL F' THAT HEB!!! Ricer mentality... I'm a college student that had a hard enough time to pay for the Xfire by myself much less pay for sratches... if I saw your junker next to my car that close... you would find a rock in your window and a broken off muffler...

Word of warning ... someone touches my xfire wrong... they are good as dead to me and I'm speaking the truth ! this car means everything to me... and the only person that can hurt it is me...

and yes I park in the farthest spot ... plus side ways... and if someone doesnt like it... they can shove it... I live in a area where cars get key'ed because they arent GM made... I have a hard enough time with that much less someone nicking it where it is parked....

You all need to breath! I parked like that in a large empty parking lot to take a few pics. Besides I was lining it up with the rail road tracks in the mural. Lordy, calm down people!

I am 2 years out of college and work hard to pay for my toys too. Nobody wants scratches on their car, but parking sideways in a parking spot is just asking for attention and potentially from the wrong crowd. "Hey everybody, look at me, my car is special". If you follow the rules of the road/parking lots, the crossfire will gain respect and not be thrown into that boy racer, ricer category.

You gotta love the look on the boy racer when he see's a muddy jeep sitting inches from his crooked car.

There is nothing wrong with parking like that for a photo. I understand what you were doing.

Default Seattle connection.

I just posted my first topic, Crossfire Coming to Korea, but I saw your thread and felt obligated to respond since I am orginally from the Seattle, Northgate area.

I attempted to purchase a Crossfire from a local dealership, but the cost seemed higher and selection limited.

Your pictures are beautiful. I think I recognize the area. Are you located in the Mountlake Terrace Lynnwood District. It is beautiful area with lots of nice roads to drive. Several years ago, I drove a Triumph Spitefire - it too was a fun driving automobile.
